After spending the previous week rebuilding the motor, we were ready to make a comeback from the race in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Albuquerque was a really tough weekend for Team Voodoo Racing. Our first warm up in the pits didn't go as well as we had hoped. According to my dad we broke a lifter in the motor warming the car up before the first round. Fortunately, the team was able to tear the top end of the motor apart, repair the broken lifter and still make the call for our first pass of the evening.
